Bank Gives $150,000 to Senior Adult Unit

Addison Gilbert Hospital’s capacity to care for the elderly will expand, thanks to a $150,000 donation from Cape Ann Savings Bank. The gift will allow our acclaimed Senior Adult Unit to grow from 12 beds to 20.

For the Love of Philanthropy

The annual Hearts for Health luncheon on Valentine’s Day raised $21,000 for the expansion of Addison Gilbert Hospital’s Senior Adult Unit. The fundraiser, hosted by Jane Fonzo and Frances Ferrante, mother of State Rep. Ann-Margaret Ferrante, was dedicated to the memory of Brian Tarr, brother of State Sen. Bruce Tarr.

$50,000 Raised for Cancer Care

The giving spirit was on full display at the Lights of Love tree lighting. The Cape Ann community came together and raised more than $50,000 for cancer care, thanks to your donations and the auction of a beautiful painting donated by Rockport’s own Ken Knowles.
