With lights flashing and music blaring, area police, fire and emergency medical teams showed their appreciation for Lahey medical staff with a May 4 vehicle parade in front of the hospital. Todd Angilly, who sings the national anthem for the Boston Bruins, regaled the crowd.

Gift Connects Families

A donation of 50 iPads from CDW Healthcare came just in time for Bob MacIntosh's family to say goodbye to him via a FaceTime video call. The tablets have given staff a way to connect critically ill patients and their families while most in-person visits are prohibited due to COVID-19.

Cancer hasn't stopped because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the June 27 Lahey Cancer Institute 5K Walk & Run has gone virtual, you can run the race from anywhere and raise money for programs and services that directly benefit patients with cancer.
